USA footballers claim final AYOF Gold

The USA have claimed the final gold medal on offer at the 2009 AYOFl this evening with an emphatic and well-deserved 5-0 victory over Australia at Glenwood's Valentine Park.

Coates calls on NSW Government to provide funding for future Festivals

The final gymnastics events at the 2009 AYOF have concluded today with the medallists for the artistic apparatus finals decided.

The 2009 AYOF was a great success. Thanks to all the athletes, officials, volunteers and spectators.

This site contains over 200 articles, 60 videos, 50 audio files and complete results to act as a momento from the 5 days of fantastic competition.

There will be plenty of great content on olympics.com.au during 2009 and the next major AOC events are the Vancouver Winter Olympics in February 2010 and the Youth Olympic Games in Singapore in July 2010.
